Car Rental Terms & Conditions

By accessing our website or completing a car rental reservation through our online platform, phone support, or customer service channels, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to the following Car Rental Terms & Conditions. These terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you (“Renter” or “Customer”) and EasyMyTrips LTD .
1. Rental Eligibility
To rent a vehicle, the renter must be at least 21 years old and possess a valid driver’s license held for a minimum of one year. Certain vehicle categories may require a minimum age of 25. International renters may be required to present a passport and an International Driving Permit (IDP). We reserve the right to refuse service if eligibility requirements are not met.
2. Booking Confirmation & Payment
All car rental bookings are subject to vehicle availability and supplier confirmation. A valid credit or debit card in the renter’s name is required for payment authorization and security verification. Full or partial payment may be charged at the time of booking. Any reservation flagged as incomplete, unverifiable, or fraudulent may be canceled.
3. Rental Pricing, Taxes & Fees
Displayed rental prices generally reflect the base vehicle rate only. Additional charges such as applicable taxes, location surcharges, optional extras, and service fees may apply depending on pickup location and rental duration. A full price breakdown is provided before final confirmation.
4. Insurance & Optional Coverage
Basic liability coverage may be included with your rental. Optional protection plans such as Collision Damage Waiver (CDW), Theft Protection, or Supplemental Liability Coverage can be purchased at booking or pickup. Renters are responsible for understanding coverage limits and exclusions.
5. Authorized Use of the Vehicle
The rented vehicle must be used responsibly and in compliance with all traffic laws. The renter agrees not to:
- Operate the vehicle under the influence of alcohol or drugs.
- Use the vehicle for racing, towing, or off-road driving.
- Allow any unauthorized or unlisted driver to operate the vehicle.
- Use the vehicle for unlawful or commercial purposes.
6. Fuel Policy & Mileage
Unless otherwise stated, rentals operate under a full-to-full fuel policy. Vehicles must be returned with the same fuel level as provided at pickup. Refueling charges may apply if fuel levels are insufficient. Mileage limits, if applicable, are disclosed during booking.
7. Changes, Cancellations & No-Shows
Booking modifications or cancellations must be requested through customer support or your online reservation portal. Applicable cancellation fees and supplier penalties may apply. Failure to collect the vehicle at the scheduled pickup time may result in a no-show, with no refund issued.
8. Vehicle Condition, Damage & Responsibility
The renter assumes full responsibility for the vehicle from pickup until return. Any accident, theft, or damage must be reported immediately. Cleaning, smoking, or damage-related charges may apply. Please review our Damage Policy for full details.
9. Delays & Unforeseen Circumstances
While every effort is made to honor confirmed reservations, vehicle availability may be affected by circumstances beyond our control, including supplier delays, mechanical issues, weather events, or government restrictions. We are not liable for losses resulting from such events.
10. Limitation of Liability
Our total liability, if any, is limited to the amount paid for the car rental booking. We are not responsible for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, including loss of personal belongings, missed appointments, or additional travel expenses.
11. Governing Law
These Car Rental Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of the United States. Any dispute arising from a car rental booking shall fall under the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in New York, USA.
